Privacy Policy

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data wplugin.store ("we", "us") collects through the License Portal and Admin Console, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have over it.

Information we collect

When you create an account: your full name, email address, phone number, and — optionally — your company name.

When you make a purchase: the name, company and country you enter at checkout, which we save to your billing profile. Your payment card details are entered directly into Razorpay's own secure checkout — our servers never receive, process, or store your card number, expiry date, or CVC. Razorpay's use of your payment data is governed by Razorpay's Privacy Policy.

When you contact support: the subject and description you type into a support ticket. We do not support file uploads on tickets — if you mention a file name, only that text is saved, not the file itself.

We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies of any kind — see our Cookie Policy for details.

How we use your information

  • To create and administer your account, licenses, and site activations.
  • To process purchases, renewals, and upgrades (via Razorpay) and to issue receipts/invoices.
  • To send transactional email — license keys, receipts, renewal reminders, and replies to your support tickets — through our email/SMTP provider.
  • To respond to support requests and keep your account secure.

Legal bases for processing (EEA / UK)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR / UK GDPR (Art. 6):

  • Performance of a contract — to create your account and provide licenses, activations, downloads, renewals and support you've asked for.
  • Legal obligation — to keep payment and invoice records for the period tax and accounting law requires.
  • Legitimate interests — to keep the service and your account secure, prevent abuse, and operate our business — balanced against your rights.
  • Consent — where we ask for it (e.g. accepting these policies at sign-up). You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of sub-processors to run the service. We do not sell your personal data to anyone, and we never share it with advertisers.

  • Razorpay — processes payments for purchases, renewals and upgrades.
  • Our email/SMTP provider — delivers transactional email (receipts, license keys, ticket replies, renewal reminders).
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) — hosts our application, database and infrastructure.

We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) or comparable laws, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Because we don't sell or share, there is no "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" action to take — it already applies to everyone.

Where your data is processed (international transfers)

We and our sub-processors operate infrastructure that may be located outside your country, including in India (our application, database and payment processing) and other regions our providers use. Where a transfer is subject to the GDPR/UK GDPR, we rely on an appropriate safeguard — such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum) — or another lawful transfer mechanism. We self-host our fonts specifically so that visiting a page does not, by itself, transfer your IP address to any third-party CDN.

Your rights: access, export & deletion

You can access and correct most of your profile information anytime from Account → Profile. You can download a full export of your data, or request that your account be deleted (anonymized), from Account → Privacy & data — no need to email us to exercise either right.

Your rights by region

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the rights below. We apply the core rights — access, correction, export (portability) and deletion — to every customer regardless of location, and honour the rest as your local law requires. We won't discriminate against you for exercising them.

  • EEA & UK (GDPR / UK GDPR): access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and the right not to be subject to solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
  • California (CCPA/CPRA): the right to know, access, correct and delete your information, and to opt out of "sale"/"sharing" — which we don't do (see above). We won't discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
  • India (DPDP Act, 2023): access to and correction/erasure of your personal data, and grievance redressal.
  • Brazil (LGPD): confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization or deletion, portability, and information about sharing.
  • Canada (PIPEDA): access to your personal information and the ability to challenge its accuracy.

To exercise any right that isn't already self-service in the portal, email us at the address below. We may need to verify your identity first, and we'll respond within the timeframe your law requires.

Automated decision-making

We do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you based solely on automated processing. Automated checks may temporarily restrict a feature that your plan doesn't include (license/entitlement enforcement); if that ever affects you and you believe it's wrong, contact support and a person will review it.

How to lodge a complaint

We'd like the chance to resolve any concern first, so please contact us. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority — for example, your EU member-state supervisory authority, the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), or the Data Protection Board of India.

Data retention

If you request deletion, we anonymize your account: your name, email, phone, company and billing details are cleared and sign-in is disabled. Payment and invoice records are not deleted at that point — we retain them for the period required by applicable tax and accounting law, after which they age out under our normal retention schedule.

Children's privacy

The portal is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated "Last updated" date.

Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using the License Portal, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. Your account

You agree to provide accurate account information (name, email, phone, company) and to keep your password confidential. You're responsible for all activity under your account. Accounts are intended for one customer/organization each.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer or redistribute a licensed plugin beyond its license terms; resell or share license keys outside your own sites/organization; abuse or overload our systems or API; or use the service for any unlawful purpose.

4. Plugin licenses & site activations

Each plugin purchase is licensed under a specific tier — typically Personal, Business, or Agency (limiting how many sites you may activate it on), or, for select products, a Free / Starter / Growth / Scale / Agency subscription tier. Activating a license on more sites than your tier allows may require deactivating another site or upgrading your plan.

5. Billing & renewal

Paid plans are billed via Razorpay and renew automatically at the then-current price unless cancelled beforehand. Upgrading a paid plan is charged immediately; downgrading takes effect at your next renewal so you keep your current features until then. A 14-day money-back guarantee applies to first-time purchases, as shown at checkout.

6. Termination

You may cancel or let a license lapse at any time from My Licenses. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, fail to pay for a paid plan, or engage in abusive or fraudulent use.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, wplugin.store will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Overview

This policy explains when you can cancel a wplugin.store subscription and request a refund for a purchase made through our License Portal. Payments are processed by Razorpay; approved refunds are returned to your original payment method.

What you're purchasing

wplugin.store sells annual software licenses (digital goods) for WordPress plugins, along with renewals and upgrades. Nothing is physically shipped — a license key is delivered to your account immediately after a successful payment.

14-day money-back guarantee (first-time purchases)

A new, first-time plan purchase is covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee. If the plugin isn't right for you, request a full refund within 14 days of the purchase date and we will refund the amount you paid. This applies to the initial purchase of a product only — once per customer, per product — and does not apply to renewals or upgrades.

Renewals

Paid plans renew automatically at the then-current price. To avoid a renewal charge, cancel auto-renewal from My Licenses before the renewal date. If you were charged for a renewal you did not intend, contact us within 7 days of the charge; renewal refunds are granted at our discretion, typically where the license was not used after the renewal.

Upgrades & downgrades

An upgrade is charged immediately for the price difference and takes effect at once; that upgrade amount is generally non-refundable once the higher tier is activated. A downgrade takes effect at your next renewal — you keep your current features until then, and no separate charge or refund is made at the moment of downgrade.

What isn't eligible for a refund

  • Requests made after the 14-day window on a first-time purchase.
  • Renewals and upgrades, except as described above.
  • The Free plan (no charge is ever made).
  • Purchases where the license terms have been breached (e.g. key sharing or redistribution), or where use is fraudulent or abusive.

How to cancel or request a refund

  • Cancel auto-renewal at any time from My Licenses in the portal.
  • To request a refund, open a ticket from Support (or contact us) with your account email and the order or invoice reference.
  • We review eligible requests within 2 business days and, if approved, initiate the refund to your original payment method.

Refund method & timeline

Approved refunds are issued through Razorpay to the original payment method used for the purchase, in the same currency as the original charge. After we initiate a refund it typically reaches your account within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first — we can usually resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may lead to suspension of the associated license pending resolution.

Cookie Policy

The short version

We don't use cookies, or any storage, for advertising, analytics, or tracking — of any kind. The only client-side storage this product uses is two strictly-necessary authentication tokens, described below. We show a brief privacy notice for transparency, but there is nothing non-essential to consent to, so nothing is gated behind a cookie-consent prompt.

What we store

We use localStorage (not traditional HTTP cookies) to keep you signed in:

  • Portal session token (pf_portal_token) — keeps a customer signed in on the License Portal.
  • Admin session token (pf_admin_token) — keeps staff signed in on the Admin Console.

Each is just a signed authentication token tied to your session. Neither is used to track you across sites, build an advertising profile, or shared with any third party. Clearing your browser's site data for this domain simply signs you out.

Our privacy notice (no consent gate)

Under the ePrivacy Directive (as implemented across the EU) and the UK's PECR, storage that is strictly necessary to provide a service you've actively requested — such as staying logged in — is exempt from the consent requirement. Since these two auth tokens are the only client-side storage this product uses, and neither is used for tracking or marketing, no consent is required to set them. The short notice we display is purely informational (notice at collection); it doesn't block anything and there is nothing to opt out of.

Fonts (no third-party CDN)

We self-host the fonts used across the portal. We deliberately do not load fonts from Google Fonts or any other content-delivery network, so no third-party font provider ever receives your IP address or any request from your browser.

Third-party checkout

We don't set any third-party cookies ourselves. If you complete a purchase, Razorpay's checkout window may set cookies of its own under its domain — those are governed by Razorpay's own policy, not this one.

Changes to this policy

If that ever changes — for example, if we add analytics — we'll update this page and add a proper consent mechanism before any non-essential storage is set.
